We feel an outstanding commitment two weeks before travelling to the Northwest Chocolate Festival, Bellevue, Washington, the most important chocolate show in the US, to exhibit our 2023 harvest of Cárdenas Chocolate.

This stunning stone mortar shaped like a cacao pod dating 5,000 years ago was found at the Santa Ana - La Florida, Ecuador. To discuss how this major discovery has put Ecuador at the epicentre of cacao history, we meet with Archeologist Francisco Valdez.
